Trip overview

The Annapurna Base Camp walk is one of the most popular short treks, attracting thousands of tourists in a single season. The trail is a haven for those who enjoy walking and trekking in the woods. This hike takes you through deep woods of fir, oak, and rhododendron trees, as well as beautiful fields and up stone-paved stairs. You may connect with the locals and share a lovely talk with them about your adventures while you’re there.

This hike offers a short loop of the southern Himalayan range, with amazing views of the three highest mountain ranges—Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu range. You stroll through traditional settlements, through a rain-soaked low alpine forest zone, and with views of high, snow-capped peaks, including the beautiful Mt. Fishtail. This trek is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, family trips, and animal aficionados.

The Base Camp begins in Pokhara, a lovely city that can be reached after five hours of driving from Kathmandu. Guests will have a great experience since they will be able to sample diverse local foods and be accommodated in homestays along the route.
